What stays on your Mac
Your cases, dates, notes and agent runs are kept on your Mac. They reach our server only when you share a case or connect iMessage.
What our server keeps
- Your account: your email address, and the name and picture Google or Apple gives us if you sign in with them.
- Your phone number and texts, if you connect iMessage. So they can reach you with your Mac shut, the app sends the server your coming reminders (title, note and time) and what your agents ask you. A reminder's words are wiped once its text goes out. An agent's question stays until it's closed, so your reply can be read against it. Your text back is kept until your Mac picks it up, then deleted. For texts you send us, we keep each one's ID so it's handled once, not its words. Text STOP at any time to end texts.
- Usage milestones: the name and time of steps such as installing or saving a first date, never what you saved.
- Shared cases: the title, note and items you pick when you share a case. Anyone with the link can read them until you stop sharing.
- Invites: your invite code and who joined with it.
Who helps us run it
Fly.io hosts the server, Neon holds the database, Resend sends sign-in emails and Photon carries iMessage texts. What you text us, with the questions open at the time, goes to Together AI to work out what it answers. Google and Apple handle sign-in if you choose them. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
Your choices
You can stop sharing a case or disconnect iMessage in the app at any time. To delete your account and what our server keeps, email wyatt@lazyeight.app.
